FACTUAL INVESTIGATIONS $70 P/h (+Gst)

Includes statement taking of clients & witnesses, providing comprehensive reports, taking of photographs at incident locations, canvassing for potential witnesses, assisting with the preparation of notices of claims and locating / finding missing persons.

CONDITIONAL LEGAL COST AGREEMENT $350 (+Gst)

Includes attending the client’s home address or location suitable to them, explaining the client’s agreement between the law firm and them (Including financial agreements), certifying their identification details, and providing a comprehensive report that includes liability and quantum.

PROCESS SERVING $110 (+Gst)

Includes two attempts serving documents whether requiring personal processing on the individual named on document, i.e., Summonses, Notices, Place Of Business and Subpoena etc or, on a person over the age of 18 (or representative of the Place of Business), and providing affidavits of service.

INCIDENTAL EXPENSES 75c Km & $45 P/h (+Gst) – TO ABOVE SERVICES

Incidental expenses include travelling / waiting time and mileage on vehicle. The incidentals rates are also passed on for medical escort situations where you have a client needing to attend a medical appointment on a particular date and can’t get there by any other means.

The incidental rates however will not be passed on if you are requiring any of the above services that are within 15km radius of the Brisbane CBD (Refer to http://myboot.com.au/QLD/15/suburblist.aspx).

All other associated costs, i.e., (But not limited to) airfare, hotel, car park, tolls and telephone costs will be passed on at cost to the client.

The incidentals expenses are negotiable and can be lowered for any work requiring four (4) or more hours of travelling and waiting time, i.e., $45 to $30. Furthermore, if overnight travel is required the prices are further negotiable.
